GENERAL BOOKING FAQs
-
What is a look?
A look is a setup consisting of a combination of wardrobe, makeup, hair styling, location, background, and/or lighting.
-
Do you accept walk-ins?
No. All sessions are by appointment only.
-
Do you photograph children?
No. I only photograph subjects 18 years or older.
-
Will I receive all the photos from the session?
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

-
Do you shoot in a studio or outdoors?
Portrait sessions are done in studio. Swimwear sessions are done on the beaches of Miami.
-
Do you offer consultations before booking you?
I do! Consultations are available when purchased as an add-on for $250 or as part of the Elite session.
-
How far in advance should I book you?
Since sessions often require lots of planning, I recommend booking me at least 10-14 days before your desired session date. This will give all of us plenty of time to prep for your shoot and ensure we get the best results!
-
Is hair and makeup included?
Makeup and hairstyling are not included within the package rate. This is separate and paid directly to the makeup artist. The makeup artist is highly recommended. She accepts cash and payments via Venmo.
-
Do you require a depoit?
Yes. A 50%, non-refundable deposit is required for all bookings.
-
Is retouching included?
Each package includes a number of retouched photographs. However, if you’d like to order additional retouching, the fee is only $50 per image.
-
What is your policy for cancellations and/or rescheduling?
All deposits/session payments are non-refundable so cancellations will result in loss of payment.
We understand that unexpected things sometime happen and you may need to move your session to another date. Rescheduling must be done at least 3 days prior to your shoot date to avoid a forfeiture of payment. As a consolation, if you're unable to put in your request prior to the deadline, you may pay a $150 rescheduling fee (in addition to the aforementioned fees) to avoid losing your payment completely.
PORTRAIT SESSION FAQs
-
Do you only shoot black-and-white?
While I'm known for my black-and-white photography, I shoot color as well. The images from your session will be delivered in both color and black-and-white.
-
Do you shoot couples/groups?
Currently as this time, we do not. Sessions are for individuals only.
-
Do you photograph children?
No. I only photograph subjects 18 years or older.
-
What should I wear?
Once booking I'll send you a detailed email with wardrobe tips to help you prepare. Generally we recommend basic options devoid of logos or odd cutouts that may be distracting in the photograph.
-
Do you do full length?
Our studio isn't set up to offer full length photos, but we can photograph you at 3/4's length (slightly below the knee up).
-
Do you shoot outdoors?
For portrait sessions, no. They are studio only.
-
Can I do my own hair and makeup?
You can! My portrait work goes for a more natural, raw, and real look so you're more than welcome to do your own makeup and hair. Just be sure to bring any items you need for styling with you on the day of the shoot.
SWIMWEAR SESSION FAQs
-
Do I have to be a professional model to book a swimwear shoot?
You do not. While swimwear sessions are aimed at experienced/aspiring models, if you're a beginner or just someone who wants great swimwear photos we'd love to shoot with you.
-
What should I wear?
Swimwear will be provided for you, but if you have any nice swimwear you own or plan to purchase, feel free to bring it! The more options you have the better!
-
Where will we be shooting?
You'll initially meet me at my location in Wynwood to prep for the shoot. We'll then head to one the many beaches in Miami based on the looks we're going for. My favorite being Crandon Park.
-
Can I do my own hair & makeup?
While hiring one of the talented makeup artist I work with is recommended, if you feel comfortable doing your own hair and makeup to a professional photo shoot level, you're more than welcome to do it yourself.
-
What if it rains?
Be sure to check the weather before booking, but in the event of unexpected rain, we can reschedule your session to another date/time.
-
Are there any age restrictions for swimwear shoots?
Yes. I only work with models 18 years or older.
-
Can I bring a guest?
Description goSure! If it will make you feel more comfortable and you won’t be distracted, you may bring a guest with you. It's best to limit guests to only 1-2 people. We find having too many people present becomes distracting and doesn't allow for the most optimal shooting experience.
-
What is the best time to shoot?
Generally I prefer shooting early in the mornings at 8AM and late afternoon beginning at 4PM.
